Kelly Rowland To Join "The X Factor"

According to reports, Kelly Rowland is close to officially joining "The X Factor" for its upcoming third season.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Rowland, 32, is near a deal to sit on the panel alongside Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato.

The mag claims Cowell could end up the only male judge this fall, with Paulina Rubio also in talks for one of the open spots.

Both L.A. Reid and Britney Spears left the FOX music competition after its second season.



The panel will be announced on Monday, as tapings are scheduled to begin on Tuesday.

It has to be mentioned that Rowland previously served as a judge with Cowell on the UK version of "X Factor" in 2011, while Rubio was a coach on Mexico's "The Voice" in 2012.
