Justin Bieber is going to space!


Bieber, 19, revealed on Wednesday that he's set to blast off on Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic, a suborbital flight that travels 60 miles above Earth.

Bieber retweeted a post from Branson reading: "Great to hear @justinbieber & @scooterbraun are latest @virgingalactic future astronauts. Congrats, see you up there!"

Celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio and Ashton Kutcher have also bought $250,000 tickets on Virgin Galactic.

Nicki Minaj Confirms "American Idol" Exit

Nicki Minaj, 30, is confirming that she, as well, is not coming back to "American Idol," just hours after former colleague Mariah Carey, 43, did the same.


"Thank you American Idol for a life changing experience! Wouldn't trade it for the world!" Minaj tweeted on Thursday evening.

She also wrote: "Time to focus on the Music!!! Mmmuuuaahhh!!!"

Minaj and Carey's widely-speculated exits come two weeks after the show's season finale, and after veteran judge Randy Jackson, 56, announced he won't be returning for the next season.

Keith Urban, 45, isn't expected to return, either, and some reports have claimed that Jennifer Hudson, 31, could fill one of the vacant slots.

Rona Newton-John, Olivia's Sister, Dies Of Brain Cancer

Olivia Newton-John's older sister, Rona, has passed away. The 70-year-old model and actress was diagnosed with brain cancer last month.


Olivia, 64, revealed Rona died on Friday, May 24 in Los Angeles, California, in a Facebook post Wednesday.

"My beautiful sister Rona sadly passed on May 24th in Los Angeles. It was May 25th in Australia - which was our mother Irene's birthday. Rona died of a very aggressive brain tumor and mercifully suffered no pain. She was surrounded by the love of her four children - Fiona, Brett,Tottie and Emerson and, her wonderful friends. I will miss her forever - my beautiful, smart, talented, funny, brave sister Rona," Olivia Newton-John wrote.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations be sent to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre. A brain tumor fund will be set up in Rona's memory and the funds will go to helping people battling the disease.

In April, Olivia first announced Rona had been diagnosed with brain cancer. She decided to postpone her Las Vegas residency to be by her sister's side.

"As a cancer "thriver" myself, as many people are, I am very aware of the importance of love, support and family during this journey she is about to begin," Newton-John, who was diagnosed with breast cancer more than 20 years ago, told "Entertainment Tonight" in a statement, adding: "I want to thank everyone in advance for respecting our privacy during this difficult time."

It has to be noted that Rona was a model early in life and then became an actress, appearing on shows like "The Benny Hill Show," "UFO" and "Sordid Lives." She was married to Olivia's "Grease" co-star Jeff Conaway from 1980 to 1985. ABC News reports she had been working on a memoir, titled "The Dark Side of Charisma", for several years. It is set to be released this summer.

Her "Vampire Diaries" costar Nina Dobrev, who recently separated from her longtime boyfriend Ian Somerhalder, tweeted her congratulations to Accola: "What colors are we thinking for the bridesmaids dresses? Because yellow isn't a good color on me.. :P haha."

Amanda Bynes Slams Chrissy Teigen: "You're No Beauty Queen! You Look 45!"

Amanda Bynes, 27, attacked Chrissy Teigen, 27, on twitter, after she expressed concern for Bynes' well-being and the followers who encourage her online.



The drama started on Tuesday night, with Teigen writing: "The fact that Amanda Bynes has any "support" to retweet is really unsettling."

Teigen continued: "Support people with mental illness, yes. But don't condone/enable scary and poor behavior."

Bynes then took serious issue with Teigen's comments, and fired back a lengthy response:

"@chrissyteigen Ur not a pretty model compared to me. I signed to Ford models @ age 13. I don't look up to u beauty wise. I'm far prettier than u! I'm offended that you're saying I have a mental illness when I show no sign of it, but thankfully not one man that wants me wants you and you are an old ugly model compared to me! You look 45! You're not pretty so I'm not intimidated by you! I think you're jealous that you're just an ugly model whos career is uninspiring! I don't respect you! You're no beauty queen! I'm a beauty queen!"

Teigen, who is engaged to John Legend, opted not to reply, simply writing: "Nope. Not going to indulge. Wish the best for her, truly," and then urged her own followers to stay away from chiming in, too.


"Don't, guys. Just don't," Teigen wrote, adding: "I never ask anything of you guys but please. I don't need defending and please stop writing her. It's not funny, it's sad."

Earlier on Tuesday, Bynes slammed Courtney Love, 48, for telling her to "pull it together," and ranted that the cop who arrested her last week was "too ugly" to be her boyfriend, and claimed that her case should be dropped.

"My lawyer knows I'm a model citizen who doesn't partake in drugs," Bynes continued, adding:  "He's going to court this week to set the record straight again on my behalf. Thankfully I'm an educated multi-millionaire who knows better than to speak to perverted unjust cops without my lawyer."

After her dramatic court appearance, Amanda Bynes, 27, following Thursday's arrest for marijuana possession and other charges, took to twitter late on Friday and refused the allegations.


"I only smoke tobacco I don't drink or do drugs. I've never had a bong in my life! I need to get another nose job after seeing my mugshot! :D," tweeted Bynes, who was led from her apartment in handcuffs and a platinum blonde wig after cops claim she threw a bong from her 36th-floor New York residence.

Bynes is due to appear in court on July 9.

Dunham, 27, is reasonably not happy about the X-rated spoof.

Dunham wrote on twitter on Thursday: "I wish I had a better attitude about the Girls porn parody. I really can never predict what will trouble me and it's simply exhausting."

Adult film star Richie Calhoun, who portrays Adam in the porn spoof, claimed he wanted to make the video true to the HBO series, revealing to media outlets: "I tried to make it as weird as possible. I tried to say really weird things and do really weird positions."

Chief Keef Threatens to Assault Katy Perry After She Slams His Song

Chief Keef (real name: Keith Cozart) sent a series of nasty tweets, including violent threats, about Katy Perry (real name:  Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson) on Thursday, two days after Perry slammed one of his songs.


"Just heard a new song on the radio called "I hate being sober" I now have serious doubt for the world," Perry tweeted on Wednesday.

It's unknown if Perry, 28, knew "Hate Being Sober" is Keef's song, as she never mentioned him.


But Keef, 17,  was infuriated and took serious offense.

"Dat b*tch Katy Perry Can Suck Skin Off Of my D*ck," Keef wrote on twitter on Thursday.

He stated: "Ill Smack The Sh*t out her ✋," and then added: "New Song Katy Perry Coming Soon."


Perry replied to Keef a few hours later, claiming she was "sorry if I offended you."

"I heard a lot of people guesting on the song & didn't even know it was you in particular," Perry continued, explaining: "Actually I'm a fan of your "Don't Like" video (to be honest)."

"I was really just having a general opinion on our generations desire to be constantly intoxicated," Perry continued.

"Believe me, I'm a lover not a hater. x" Perry concluded.

Cobain wrote: "oh shh. There are kids on earth abandoned&homeless," and went on to refer to Kendall a "self-absorbed idiot."

On Thursday night, Jenner hit back at Cobain's criticism, tweeting at her: "an individuals feelings are relative to their environment. you don't know me, you don't even know what i was referring to."






Jenner added: "i am aware that i am very privileged and blessed, and im thankful for that everyday, i know there are greater problems...in the world. i pray for those people every night and give back as much as i can. so who are u to judge me?"

Farrah Abraham may be coming back to TV, hopefully with her clothes on.

Abraham wrote on Twitter on Tuesday that she has signed a deal to for her own reality show.

"Get ready for better TV :) The News Is True," Abraham tweeted.

Farrah would make an appearance in a "reality docu-soap" produced by Spinboi Films.






It has to be mentioned that a network would have to pick up the series for it to actually air on television.

Kendall Jenner was attacked on twitter on Tuesday night for a comment about wishing life was "easier," a tweet that infuriated Frances Bean Cobain.


"Just wish things could be easier sometimes mann," Kendall tweeted, with no mention of what she was referring to.

Striking a nerve with the daughter of Kurt and Courtney Love responded: "oh shh. There are kids on earth abandoned&homeless who forcibly drink contaminated water because clean water isn't accessible."

"Oh ya, not to mention, CANCER, famine, poverty, draught, disease, natural disasters, Death," continued Cobain. "F**k, Humans are so self involved."




Cobain claimed: "i'd rather be a scumbag than a f**king idiot. Praise high IQ's, good taste & awareness about the state of the world."

"I'd like to thank my parents for providing me with a high IQ & I'd like to thank my grams for encouraging me not to be a self absorbed idiot," she added.




Kendall has not replied yet to Cobain's comments.

On Monday, "X-Men: Days of Future Past" director Bryan Singer tweeted the first photo of Jennifer Lawrence wearing her costume as the mutant Mystique.

"The Doors" Founding Member Ray Manzarek Dead At 74

According to the band's official Facebook page, Ray Manzarek, who co-founded "The Doors" with Jim Morrison in 1965 and played keyboard, has passed away at 74.


According to the website, Manzarek died today at the RoMed Clinic in Rosenheim, Germany after a lengthy battle with bile duct cancer.

At the time of his death, Manzarek was surrounded by his wife Dorothy and his brothers Rick and James.







Along with Morrison, Manzarek and The Doors churned out some of the most iconic rock songs in history, such as "L.A. Woman," "Break On Through to the Other Side," "The End," "Hello, I Love You" and "Light My Fire."

Doors' guitarist Robby Krieger released a statement saying: "I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of my friend and bandmate Ray Manzarek."


He added: "I'm just glad to have been able to have played Doors songs with him for the last decade. Ray was a huge part of my life and I will always miss him."

According to the band's official Facebook page, Ray's family has asked that in lieu of flowers, fans should make an in memoriam donation in Ray's name to Standup2cancer.org.

Justin Bieber Booed At Billboard Music Awards

Justin Bieber learned the bad way that not everyone is a "Belieber" when he was greeted with a round of boos at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night.



As Bieber took the stage to accept the New Milestone Award he was loudly booed that seemed to shock him.

Dressing up in black and wearing sunglasses to accept the fan-voted award, Justin made a brief speech, roughly addressing the fans that voted to give him the award at the Las Vegas show.

"I'm 19 years old," Justin stated, adding: "I think I'm doing a pretty good job."

After his romantic weekend with his on-again off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez, Bieber appeared to be thrown off by the bad response from the crowd.



"From my heart I really want to say it should be about the music and about the craft I'm making," Bieber explained, but sounded annoyed by the diss.

"This is not a gimmick. I'm an artist, and I should be taken seriously. This other bull should not be spoken of," Bieber was quoted as saying.

Justin also thanked his family, Jesus Christ and finally thanked the fans and walked off stage.

After the show Bieber tweeted to his 39.3 million followers a simple message: "Blessed."

Eva Longoria is one of the best-dressed at the red carpet but rain at the Cannes Film Festival got the best of her on Saturday.



Longoria, 38, attended the premiere screening of Benicio del Toro's  Jimmy P. ("Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian") in a breathtaking mint green gown, slit high on one side.

Longoria would have been her usual sexy self except for the rain and the puddles. Trying to avoid a slip, she lifted up her gown right at the highest point of the side slit, revealing she didn't wear any underwear and absolutely make a spectacle of herself.

Longoria, who has been tweeting EvaLongoria almost nonstop since arriving in Cannes, didn't mention the embarrassing mishap to her fans.



On Sunday, Eva simply tweeted: "Yay sun is back out in Cannes!!"
