Julia Volkova Surgery

Russian singer, recording artist and actress Julia Volkova (birth name: Yulia Olegovna Volkova), best known for being a member in the Russian girl group t.A.T.u. along with Lena Katina, is rumored to have had surgery to improve her image.

Volkova, 28, is speculated to have had botox injections, nose job, lip injections, breast and cheek implants and even a facelift!

Judging by the before and after pictures, Volkova looks like a totally different person!

Julia's face seems thinner, but this could simply be the case of weight loss.

Her nose appears thinner and rounder, a sign of a nose job, which by the way was not successful. 

The skin on Julia's face appears tightened and smooth, especially on her forehead. You can tell by the after pictures that she has difficulty in moving her own face as it seems frozen, giving you the impression that she is wearing a wax mask. The reason? Too many fillers and implants around her face!

Julia's eyebrows are highly arched, an indication of botox injections.

Some plastic surgeons believe that Volkova had Restylane and Juvederm in her cheeks as well as a breast enhancement.

Julia's most apparent surgery was undeniably the lip injections as her lips seem bigger and fuller. Sadly, she has gotten overboard by having too many fillers!

Dr. David Shafer, celebrity plastic surgeon in New York City was quoted as saying: "Over-injected lips can be a marker of bad plastic surgery. The best plastic surgery is in patients that look great without anything specific or noticeable and have natural looking results."

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer claimed: "Julia Volkova certainly has had some facial cosmetic work done including a nose job (Rhinoplasty) and dermal fillers to her lips. The changes are very obvious and not very natural looking. Her lips over time will decrease in size; however her nose has an irregular shape and to correct that would need to be surgically revised."

If the rumors are true, Julia has spent a lot of time on her surgeon's office as well as for recovery after also having a browlift and facelift, despite her young age.

Conclusion: In the attempt to improve her appearance and maintain her youthful looks that made her famous, Volkova has gotten exactly the opposite result as she appears older than her actual age. Now she is internationally known for her awful surgery.
