1. All I know is that I've ruled out wearing fairy wings. When I was nine I wanted to get married in fairy wings, and now I realize that's not cool anymore.
2. They'd (Wilson and Vaughn's characters) have to chuck us in the first act so they can crash again.
3. I couldn't marry someone who doesn't have the same sense of humor as me. Humor's really important - it's the most important quality in a person.
4. I do think this film gives out a good message. I think the message is about consumption and debt and it is something we are all learning about at the moment. Obviously the movie was set in a different economic period but it is a redemption story and my character Rebecca Bloomwood learns her lesson.
5. I love the power women have. I think women rule the world because they rule men. Manipulating men - that's our job. That's what we're on the planet for.
6. It's a comedy, there's not a great message behind it.
7. I've never been someone who enjoys the gym. I'm not very motivated by vanity. One of the secrets for me being little - other than having good luck with my genes - is that I'm outdoorsy. I like to keep moving.
8. It was great having red hair as a kid, because I had something to blame my temper on. Now I go for the same colur palette as Conan O'Brien. I did dye it blonde once, but it backfired, as I had nothing to blame my temper on anymore!
9. Oh, when my mom remarried after my father, she somehow put my brother, Daniel, in charge of the music and he thought that it was so amusing to play Guns-n-Roses.
10. I really love creating characters and I love following a structure. It's exciting, writing. Acting, you're told where to stand, what to say and you're always being cut out of the exciting bit, where you could go anywhere and do anything with any character.
11. I love acting, love it. It's the greatest fun in the world. I've always had no trouble feeling extremely grateful. So even though, comparatively, I wasn't doing so well, I thought I was on top of the world.
12. There is no way I am going to worry about missing out on work or the pressure to lose weight. At the moment I am not even planning any work.
13. I can see only one safe rule for the historian: that he should recognize in the development of human destinies the play of the contingent and the unforeseen.
14. I thought, there's something funny about a shopaholic buying ridiculously high heels and tottering through the comedy. I thought it would be amusing. It was less amusing, actually, when I had to do it every day!
15. Am I a romantic at heart? Who knows.
16. It's hard to have a repartee with Vince when you're looking at his bellybutton. I mean, the man is a circus freak and I'm very short.
17. I acted in my own accent for the first time in a long time, which was quite fun.
18. I've never had a good-looking boyfriend, well, in the stereotypical way. A lot of people find someone attractive that others don't. Otherwise, all our men would be taken by Claudia Schiffer!
19. I think we'll do it like Britney and just go to Vegas. That could be fun.
20. I loved the idea of doing a romantic comedy that wasn't formulaic and glossy. It felt like real people getting involved at different stages of their lives, and how important timing is.
21. I crashed my boyfriend's birthday when I was 12 years old. He didn't invite me and so I showed up.
22. God, no! I mean, how successful are married working relationships? Nicole and Tom split up after "Eyes Wide Shut"…I feel like working together is the kiss of death.
23. I always liked Elvis Presley when I was younger - I told anyone who would listen that I was going to marry that man. I didn't realize then that he had died.
24. The most romantic thing a guy (her fiancé, Sacha Baron Cohen) has ever done for me is starting a family. That's as romantic as it gets.
25. When we met, Sacha (Baron Cohen) kept saying: "Stand up, stand up." And I said: "I am." Height doesn't matter - I'm so small, I'm a circus freak.
26. I think all married couples tend to run things by each other in every capacity and we're not different to them.
27. Comedy has always been important in my family. If you got in a good joke at the dinner table, it meant more than almost anything else.
28. I love it when a beautiful designer dresses me. But these days, it's more like getting in the car and realizing the burp cloth is still on my left shoulder.
29. At the Golden Globes one year, someone stepped on my dress, and my underwear was revealed! They ran the story in London, calling me Isla Flasher.
What do you think of Isla Fisher's quotes?
