American singer, actress, producer and former fashion model Vanessa Williams (full name: Vanessa Lynn Williams) has had plastic surgery to turn back the hands of time.
In detail, Williams, 50, admitted out loud she gets botox injections, telling Starpulse: "I did it after I turned 40, but I told the doctor: "My face has got to move. I am not looking for perfection, I am looking for refreshment.""
Williams revealed to Barbara Walters: "I certainly do Botox, which I definitely think that almost every woman that I know has. And it's a miracle drug, no cutting, nothing…".
Judging by the before and after pictures, Vanessa's forehead is totally smooth, but she still has some crow's feet around her eyes, making her botox results seem more natural. She made a smart choice to not overdone her face to the point that it stops having any facial expression.
On the other hand, in spite of being very open and proud about her Botox use, Vanessa doesn't mention any plastic surgery procedures she underwent in the past and over the years. Early photos of Vanessa - during her Miss America days as well as her controversial images for Penthouse magazine - reveal she had a wider nose (but not too bulbous) than she currently has, leading us to believe that she likely had a nose job at some point in her career. The result is beautiful though as her nose is much slimmer at the end, making her nostrils look much less flared.
If we take a closer look at her pictures, we can notice that Williams' cheekbones are higher and fuller, possibly an indication of injectable fillers or fat injections. Some celebrity watchers estimate that Vanessa wears contact lenses to achieve her signature blue eyes, but images show that her eyes have always been lighter.
It has to be noted that Williams battled acne and is a spokesperson for popular acne treatment product ProActiv. Her skin is in good shape now, without any scars, leading dermatologists to speculate she may have had a laser treatment, using blue light technology to get rid of any residual acne or scarring. Moreover, it is likely that Vanessa's youthful skin tone has been helped by multiple laser procedures throughout the years such as Active Fx, Pixel, Titan, Affirm or Fraxel.
The question is: "What plastic surgeon experts believe about Vanessa Williams' plastic surgery?"
Celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn was quoted as saying: "Take a look at her forehead in the photo. It is smooth as a baby's bottom. That is one nice Botox result. Even two decades after she became Miss America, she is still absolutely stunning. Too bad, Rick Fox!".
Dr. Nassif explained: "Vanessa is beautiful. She has nicely arched brows and a nice nose, which could be the result of a rhinoplasty, as it appears that her nose is narrower. Her nostrils have been reduced. If she has had a rhinoplasty, it looks very natural."
Plastic surgeon Dr. Sherrell J. Aston revealed: "Vanessa Williams first became public as a beauty pageant queen and quickly became successful as an actress, singer, and spokesperson. She looks as though she might have had a rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty and more recently Botox. She may have also had some fillers like Restylane as well. Vanessa looks great at 46; she has done a good job at maintaining her looks and physique while keeping competitive in her age bracket. Natural beauty of course has been the most important."
Dr. Shafer claimed: "Vanessa Williams does not need any plastic surgery - she is 46 and looks beautiful. If anything, a little Botox Cosmetic in her neck bands - but even this is not necessary."
Dr. Walden stated: "Vanessa Williams has always been beautiful. She has likely had Botox injections to her forehead to make it so smooth and wrinkle-free, and may have even had a surgical browlift in the past."
Conclusion: Whatever plastic surgery procedure Vanessa Williams undergoes, it is obvious that works for her as she appears really natural.
