American actress and model Tami Erin, best known for her portrayal of Pippi Longstocking in the 1988 Columbia Pictures film "The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking", was reportedly arrested for alleged assault this week.
According to celebrity website TMZ, Erin, 38, was busted in California on Thursday after allegedly getting into a physical altercation with a male roommate.
A neighbor reportedly intervened and placed her under citizen's arrest until the cops arrived.
Erin was reportedly booked for assault and released on Friday. Her case has been transferred to the District Attorney's office for review.
